Enhancing Safety for Construction Workers

Professor Karina Nielsen and Rose Shepherd delivered the webinar about the ESTEEM project as part of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Festival of Social Science.
The workshop introduced participants to ESTEEM’s state-of-the-art training programme designed to improve the safety behaviours of construction workers in order to reduce accidents and injuries.
Karina and Rose presented some key results of the evaluation of the training and the different guidelines that have been developed for individual workers, supervisors, trainers, and occupational health professionals.
